About Tahoe Therapeutics

Tahoe Therapeutics is a biotechnology company pioneering a fundamentally new approach to drug discovery, one that begins with the biology of real patients. Our Mosaic platform is the first to make in vivo data generation scalable, with single-cell resolution, allowing us to map how drugs affect patient-derived cells in the body across a wide range of biological contexts. We are building the world’s largest in vivo single-cell perturbation atlas and using it to train multimodal foundation models that learn the context-dependent nature of gene function, disease progression, and drug response.

By combining cutting-edge machine learning with the most biologically relevant datasets ever assembled in drug discovery, our mission is to find better drugs, faster and bring them to more patients who need them.

Your role

We are seeking a talented and motivated Research Associate to join the Tahoe Therapeutics team. This position is laboratory-based and will require close work with team members to maintain cancer cell lines and support our Mosaic and Validation experiments. We are looking for a candidate who is a dedicated team player, capable of assisting with several projects at once, and one who thrives in a collaborative environment between multiple innovative individuals. Scientists that demonstrate self-motivation and enthusiasm for scientific bench work are strongly encouraged.

  • Demonstrated scientific curiosity
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team, coordinating tasks across multiple projects to meet deadlines
  • Willingness to expand scope of responsibilities outside of initial job description
  • You must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintaining and propagating multiple cancer cell lines
  • Develop and optimize experimental protocols

  • Support and/or lead cross-team projects to meet company objectives
  • Support the larger R&D team in various lab/day-to-day operations and activities across the board
