Flight Planner

This role is responsible for computing, processing and filing flight plans. You will work closely with Staff Meteorologists on duty to ensure routes, alternate airports, ETPs and destination weather are coordinated correctly. You will build and review all routes required for flight plans and identify countries that will be overflown so that permit requests can be sent while ensuring all duties are performed in a timely manner in accordance with all policies and procedures and customer satisfaction is prioritized.
Required Skills:
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor’s or associate’s degree in aviation-related studies, dispatcher’s license or military aviation experience preferred
- International aviation services experience strongly preferred
- Flight planning/ATC experience strongly preferred
Our shifts are 12 hours long and rotate 4-days on 4-days off, so you must be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays (as the schedule dictates).
