Brandon Berg (’21); wife Anna (’21 Exercise Science; ’22 Masters in Athletic Training) and daughter Ruth

My name is Brandon Berg, and I currently work as a Production Manager at Rembrandt Foods. I began my career with Rembrandt Foods after graduating from South Dakota State University in May 2021 with a degree in Animal Science. Starting as an Operations Supervisor, I quickly developed a passion for leadership, problem-solving, and helping teams succeed in a fast-paced production environment.

In my day-to-day role, I work closely with employees across multiple departments to ensure operations run safely, efficiently, and productively. My responsibilities include supporting team development, coordinating production activities, troubleshooting challenges, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. I enjoy working with people and helping create an environment where employees can grow, succeed, and take pride in their work.

 My experience at SDSU helped prepare me for my career by providing both technical knowledge and opportunities to build leadership and communication skills. The relationships I developed with professors, classmates, and industry professionals played an important role in shaping my career path and opening doors to new opportunities.

 One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that success comes from a combination of hard work, continuous learning, and strong relationships. The connections you make and the reputation you build can have a lasting impact on your career. By staying committed to learning and investing in the people around you, you can create opportunities for growth both personally and professionally.
