The LeadState 2026 Cohort is set!

I am excited to share that we had 110 students commit to participating in the LeadState program for Fall 2026.

This cohort is going to experience learning:

  • their top 5 Clifton Strengths and how to apply them to their professional personal life
  • the NACE Career Readiness Competencies and develop their own career plan
  • the Social Change Model of Leadership

LeadState students will also complete a service project with a peer cluster. We are partnering with Jack’s Cupboard as well as the United Way, so students will be able to have an impact both on campus and in the community.

On Friday May 1st we hosted a Welcome Party for the rising LeadState cohort. Amid all the end of year activities, we had about 40-45 students attend. The weather was great so we were able to be outside, play some outdoor games, eat food, and get an informal start at networking. See below for some pictures of our gathering.
